📢 Canyon Park Season Extension Announcement 📢

WORD is pleased to announce that the operating season for Canyon Park will be extended beyond its normal closing date of October 31, until further notice.

We recognize that Boat Ramp 18 is one of the few ramps currently open on Canyon Lake, and we want to continue providing the community with lake access and recreational opportunities.

Open areas of Canyon Park will be limited to Area 2, which includes:

  • Boat Ramp 18

  • Fishing Pier

  • Shoreline access for swimming and relaxing

  • Grills and covered picnic sites

We are also extending the Park operating hours. The entry gates will open at 7:00 AM and close at 4:00 PM, and all visitors must exit the park by dark.

Payment is accepted via Park Mobile QR code only. Green ParkMobile signs with the QR code are posted throughout the open areas. Parking regulations will be enforced.

Please note that Park hours and access are subject to change at any time. Misuse or noncompliance may result in the revocation of this extended season. The park may also close on certain holidays or during special events.
