WORD is accepting 1-year bids with 2 annual options to renew for all 2027 cleanup contracts.

Sealed bids should be addressed to Comal County Water Oriented Recreation District. Bids must be received by 10:00 AM local time on October 9th, 2026 via mail: PO Box 2789, Canyon Lake, Texas, 78133 or Drop Off: 14041 FM 306, Canyon Lake, TX 78133 and after such time will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of labor, materials, tools, and equipment for the purpose of removing refuse, trash, and debris from specified areas. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Each separate bid shall be on locations as follows:

Contract #1: Nine (9) County boat ramps located on Canyon Lake

Contract #2: FM 306 Roadside cleanup

Contract #3: River Road Roadsides

Contract #4: Upper Guadalupe River cleanup

Contract # 5: Lower Guadalupe River cleanup – A

Contract # 6: Lower Guadalupe River cleanup – B

Contract # 7: SCUBA cleanup within areas of the Guadalupe River

Contract # 8: Roadsides throughout the District as needed

Bid Packages may be picked up at the WORD office, 14041 FM 306, Canyon Lake, TX, or requested via email from wes@wordcc.com. Packages will be available starting Thursday, September 24th. Up to 2 certain separate contracts may be bundled together into a package bid in addition to the individual bids.
