Operations Assistant
Responsible for assisting with all WORD Operations at the discretion of the Operations Manager and/or General Manager.
Canyon Lake Parks Attendants
Park Attendants will assist with park duties at Canyon or Comal Park to ensure parks are clean and to educate visitors on park rules while creating a welcoming environment.
Parks Summer Intern
The WORD Parks Summer Intern assists with the day-to-day Parks activities, including, but not limited to, overseeing the Parks and Staff, picking up trash and cleaning restrooms when needed, and assisting on the administrative side of Parks operations.
Summer Environment Educator
The Environment Educator will assist with outdoor recreation projects, marketing, and other activities and projects to promote keeping the waterways clean.
Operations Summer Intern
The WORD Summer Intern assists with outdoor recreation projects, marketing, and other activities and projects. The intern will also assist in river cleanup contract compliance checks and participate in our Anti-Litter Campaign that aims to reduce litter on local waterways through education outreach.
Summer Non-Profit Intern
The WORD Non-Profit Intern will assist Keep Canyon Lake Beautiful (KCLB), a local non-profit, in organizing events and projects related to its mission. The intern will also assist in office needs and participate in WORD’s Anti-Litter Campaign, which aims to reduce litter on local waterways through education outreach.
